Located southwest of Iowa City at the Iowa Mennonite Church, the Iowa City Road Race begins at 8:00 am with races continuing throughout the day, varying from 26 to 65 miles in length. The Old Capitol Criterium weekend has been selected to host the North Central Collegiate Cycling Conference (NCCC) road race and team time trial conference championships. Additionally, an NCCC collegiate criterium will be held in conjunction with the Old Capitol Criterium.

The Old Capitol Criterium invades downtown Iowa City on Sunday, April 27th. Racing starts at 9:30 with the Juniors Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Race Series event, and continue throughout the day to the Chris Lillig Memorial Cup feature race at 3:30 pm. Read More

In honor of Chris Lillig, both the Men and Women's feature events of the Old Capitol Criterium will compete for the prestigious Chris Lillig Memorial Cup.

NCCC Conference Championships
